Customer-owned Banking Sector Pre-Budget Submission 2014-15

COBA has written to Treasury providing outlines our priorities for the 2014-15 Federal Budget.  The submission recommends the Government not proceed with the deposit levy and instead introduce a levy on all systemically important banks; a fairer taxation of interest earned by Australian depositors; and a modest government contribution to the costs of regulator APRA to promote efficiency.
