The review of the Customer Owned Banking Code of Practice is now open for public consultation. We invite customers, consumer advocates, and industry stakeholders to contribute their insights and help refine the standards that govern our sector.
To ensure your feedback is as impactful as possible, we recommend reviewing the Consultation Paper before making a submission.
All forms of contribution to this review — whether individual experiences, organisational submissions, data analysis, or expert perspectives — will be carefully considered and valued for the insights they provide.
When are submissions due?
Submissions on this consultation paper are due by 2 April 2026.

Stakeholder roundtables will be held during the consultation phase of the review. Anyone wishing to meet with the Independent Reviewer can request a meeting by contacting code@coba.asn.au.
